Freestyle Kids Camp

Freestyle Kids Camp is a three-day camp for skiers aged 9–11, led by our fantastic ski coach Calle Reis Nilsson. Calle has competed in moguls, is a park expert, and holds a ski instructor certification! The days will be filled with primarily park skiing, as well as an introduction to freeride, moguls, and of course tons of ski joy. The camp is designed for kids who are confident on all slopes, no previous park experience is required. In addition to plenty of skiing, the days will include snack breaks and a shared lunch.

Program:

Day 1 – Park Skiing in Bräcke
We’ll kick off the camp focusing on park skiing. Participants will learn the basics of jumps and rails: speed control, pop, landings, and their first tricks. We’ll talk about park safety, test different features, and get a feel for everything from jumps to rails.
Focus: jumps & pop, rails & boxes, park safety, crash training, and building confidence to try new things.

Day 2 – Freeride in Rödkullen and Bräcke
On the second day, we’ll shift the focus to freeride. Participants will practice reading terrain, finding creative lines, and using natural features on the mountain. We’ll explore drops, flow in varied terrain, and introduce simple rotations. The day also includes a short introduction to avalanche equipment and mountain safety to give a feel for off-piste skiing.
Focus: lines & flow, drops and natural jumps, spins and rotations, safety and an introduction to avalanche gear.

Day 3 – Freestyle in Duved
On the final day, we’ll tie it all together by mixing freeride and park skiing. Participants will get to be creative, building their own lines, combining tricks, and developing what they’ve learned over the previous days. If conditions allow, we’ll also visit “Paradiset” for some easy off-piste skiing. The camp ends with a fun group session and a cheerful wrap-up.
Focus: combining park & freeride, personal projects (trick, line, or drop), creativity & playfulness, off-piste and moguls for variety.
