We are proud to be part of Åre Sportshop and to have our base in Undersåker, right in the heart of the mountains. Our vision is simple: to create the best ski day for every guest.

With us, you’ll meet highly trained coaches with extensive experience who deliver courses, adventures, and lessons at the highest level. We’re more than just ski instructors, we’re guides, inspirers, and hosts for your mountain experience. We help you develop your skiing skills while making the most of your stay.

Through personal service and tailor-made experiences, we adapt every adventure to your needs and wishes. Whether it’s showing you the best slopes, taking you on a tour across the mountain plateau, or recommending Åre’s culinary highlights, we’re here to make your holiday smooth and memorable.

Our history

It all began with a dream of creating a ski school that offers something extra, to give every guest the perfect stay on our magnificent mountain. We may be a young company, but we stand on a solid foundation with many years of experience from previously running the ski school under the Åre Sportshop brand. Now we are taking the next step and turning our vision into reality: a world-class ski school with the happiest guests and coaches! Together, we look forward to all the adventures we will share with you and hope you’ll join us on this exciting journey!

2006

A seed is planted
Back then, when Daniel started working at Åre Sportshop, a goal began to take shape: to give you “your perfect ski day.” This was when the seed was planted, to create something bigger, something of true quality, with your experience at the center of everything we do.
2018

The ski school is born
Good things are worth the wait. At last, Daniel launches a ski coaching program at Åre Sportshop, focusing on highly trained ski coaches with extensive experience and above all, unmatched hospitality!
2023

All good things come in pairs
After completing the ski instructor program in the village, Julia joins Åre Sportshop and begins taking big steps in developing the shop’s ski coaching operations. Now the planted seed starts to grow bigger and stronger. More guests discover the ski school and the charm of skiing with attentive, highly trained coaches who maintain a high professional standard. Thoughts started to swirl, how far can this go?
2025:

The grand opening!
This is it! Åre Ski Academy is born, and a world-class ski school is now a reality. What the future holds remains to be seen, but we’re guessing it’s filled with countless wonderful and memorable experiences together with you, our amazing guests, who are the very reason we stand here today!
